Wisconsin Badgers
CHAMPAIGN, IL (WSAU) — The Badger men’s basketball team fell to Illinois 75-60 on Saturday.
D’Mitrik Trice led the Badgers with 22 points. Nate Reuvers added 11 off the bench, while Micah Potter scored 8.
The Badgers were sorely outrebounded in the loss 46-19. Jonathan Davis and Brad Davison each led the Badgers with 4 boards. Davison was also kept off the score sheet with zero points in 24 minutes.
The Illini were led by a triple-double from Ayo Dosunmu (21 points-12 rebounds-12 assists) double-double from Kofi Cockburn (23-14).
Wisconsin will regroup and prepare for Nebraska on Thursday, Feb 11th in Lincoln. Tip-off is set for 4 PM, with pregame coverage at 3 on WSAU.
