STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Junior High through Senior High students will be returning to in-person classes four days per week in the Stevens Point School District starting April 5th.
Students will attend classes in person every day except Wednesday, which will be used for e-learning.
The change was approved on Monday, the same day district leaders also approved the hiring of an equity, diversity, and inclusion coordinator.
The District’s Director of Communications Sarah O’Donnell told WAOW TV the position is in response to “recent events in our own community, recent events we’ve seen across the state and across the country, and making sure we are doing a good job for all students.”
