Culver’s announced that in the eight years since the “Thank You Farmers” campaign began, they’ve raised over $3 million for the National FFA Foundation and other ag-related organizations. The campaign started with hopes to help people recognize everything that farmers do for everyone all year round. Culver’s is especially thankful for what U.S. farmers have done to help make them the famous restaurant they’ve become.
The home of frozen custard and ButterBurgers went a step further and is the sponsor of the annual FFA Essay Contest for National FFA Week. All FFA members are eligible for the contest and are told to submit an essay about the lessons agriculture has learned during the pandemic. The first-place winner will receive up to $7,500 for their FFA chapter, second place gets $5,000, and third will be given $2,500.
The entry period closes on April 19th. For all essay contest details, check out Culver’s website.
