GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers are discussing a restructured contract.
NFL Network reports the two sides are discussing a restructured deal or extension. The reigning NFL MVP is under contract through the 2023 season and is set to carry a league-high of approximately 37.5-million dollars against the salary cap in 2021.
The Packers also announced they are bringing back free-agent cornerback Kevin King.
He agreed to a one-year deal worth a reported six-million dollars. With King back, Green Bay is able to keep its starting secondary together.
