The chairman of the Wisconsin State Fair Park Board announced that the 2021 state fair will be going on this summer in person. John Yingling was excited to make the announcement after having to cancel the annual event in West Allis due to the pandemic last year. This year’s eleven-day fair will be held from August 5th to the 15th.
Yingling explained that back in January they set a goal to have the fair, but weren’t completely sure what would happen. Now the board is confident in saying that they’re well on the way to their goal. He did say that final health protocols aren’t set in place yet, but we are still a few months away yet so it’s tough to tell where we’ll be at by August.
Conveniently, sanitation protocols are already set because the park is an accredited Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Star facility.
Main stage entertainment tickets are currently being sold and general admission tickets will be on sale soon. See you at the fair!
