MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks got Giannis back from a sprained ankle and he teamed with Khris Middleton & Jrue Holiday to beat the Brooklyn Nets 117-114 on Sunday afternoon.
The Bucks Big Three combined for 93 points in the win. Meanwhile, James Harden is still out for Brooklyn so it was the Big Two for the Nets. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving combined for 62 points.
Giannis had a season-high 49 points on 21-36 shooting including 4-8 from three point range. Middleton had a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds along with six assists. Holiday had 18 points. Brynn Forbes added 12 off the bench.
Durant had 42 points and 10 rebounds. Irving finished with 20. Landry Shamet had 17 and Blake Griffin 11 off the bench.
The two teams have a re-match on Tuesday night.
