MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Just two days after it was announced that they would be increasing capacity at American Family Field to 50% beginning this weekend, the Milwaukee Brewers have targeted June 25th to return to full capacity for the remainder of the season.
“This is great news for our fans and our community,” said Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger in a press release. He added that the team has continued to work with the City of Milwaukee throughout the process to get the stadium back to full capacity.
Single-game tickets are currently on sale for all games through May 27th. Those tickets must be purchased in pods of two or more.
The team will announce details for ticket sales for the remainder of the season (May 31st through September 26th) early Friday morning.
The Brewers weren’t the only team in the region to announce a target date for 100% capacity- the Minnesota Twins are aiming to sell out Target Field for games from July 5th on. Currently, the Twins are limiting capacity to 60%. That number will go up to 80% in June.
