MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Milwaukee Brewers will allow full stadium capacity by the end of next month.
The team announced Thursday that full capacity will be allowed at American Family Field starting with the June 25 game against the Colorado Rockies. The team’s news release did not indicate whether other health restrictions, such as mask requirements, would be in place.
“This is great news for our fans and our community,” said Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said in a news release. “We appreciate the support of Mayor Barrett and Milwaukee Commissioner of Health Kirsten Johnson in getting us back to full capacity.”
Single-game tickets are available for games through May 27. The Brewers say on Friday morning, they will announce details for single-game tickets and the promotional schedule for the remainder of 2021 home games.
Since the beginning of the season, the Brewers had limited attendance to 25% of capacity in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. On Saturday, capacity will increase to 50% of the 41,900-seat capacity stadium.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have announced they will increase capacity to 50% at Fiserv Forum for NBA playoff games.
