CINCINNATI, OH (WSAU) — Daniel Robertson’s seventh-inning homer provided the game-winning RBI for the Brewers in a 4-3 victory Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati.
Milwaukee took an early 1-0 lead in the game on a third-inning homer from Luis Urias only to see the Reds come back in the bottom of the frame to take a 2-1 lead. Jackie Bradley Jr then recorded a two-RBI single in the 6th to put the Brewers back on top, but again the Reds countered with a single run in the bottom of the frame to tie things back up at 3.
Robertson was batting in the 9th spot in the lineup after a mid-game double switch. The 7th inning tater was his only hit of the game.
Brent Suter picked up the win in relief for the Brewers but was also charged with a blown save. Josh Hader struck out two in the 9th to pick up the save.
The same two teams will close out their weekend set this afternoon. Pregame coverage begins at 11:35 on WSAU.
