MIAMI, FL (WSAU) — The Bucks are the first team to book a spot in the NBA’s Conference Semifinals round after a 120-103 win over the Miami Heat in game four of their first-round series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo took charge in the win and scored his first career playoff triple-double in the process. He finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 15 assists; one of four Bucks to score 20 or more in the game.
Brook Lopez led all scorers with 25 while also recording eight rebounds. Bryn Forbes added 22 off the bench, and Khris Middleton also scored 20 while grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing three assists.
Bam Adebayo led Miami with 20 points in the loss.
It was the 5th sweep of a best-of-seven playoff series in Bucks history- with the last being the 2019 first-round series against Detroit. Milwaukee will now face either Brooklyn or Boston in the semifinals, the Nets currently hold a 2-1 lead in that series with Game Four scheduled for Sunday night.
If the Nets win in five games that series will start on June 5th. Should the series go to six or seven games, the start date is pushed to June 7th.
The series will also mark a return to near-capacity crowds at Fiserv Forum.
