NEILLSVILLE, WI (WSAU) — A Mosinee man is now facing a homicide charge in the case of a missing woman.
In early May, Jesus Contreras Perez was charged with stalking resulting in bodily harm. The charge also has domestic abuse and domestic abuse assessment modifiers. New charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse with party to crime modifiers were added on Monday, June 7th.
Contreras Perez allegedly stalked an unnamed woman in July, just a few months before the woman went missing in October. He is also accused of threatening and injuring the woman at other times as well. The woman is believed to be Cassandra Ayon who went missing in the area around the same time.

While court records don’t name Ayon specifically, she is the only person in the area to go missing on that date. Her body has not been found.
Contreras Perez remains in the Clark County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond stemming from his initial criminal charges. He will return to court on June 15th for an initial appearance.
