Milwaukee Brewers
CINCINNATI, OHIO (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers moved to eight games over :500 with a 5-1 win on Tuesday night at Cincinnati.
Avisail Garcia hit his 12th homer of the season to stake the Brewers to a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning. Garcia finished with two hits and two RBIs. Travis Shaw had a two-run double.
Adrian Houser pitched 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He gave up one run on five hits with four strikeouts. Brent Suter, Brad Boxberger, Devin Williams and Hoby Milner pitched scoreless innings in relief.
The Brewers, now 34-26, will face the Reds again tonight. Brett Anderson on the mound…pre game show at 5:35 on WSAU.
