PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers used another outstanding outing from Freddy Peralta and beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 on Tuesday night at Chase Field.
Peralta went six innings giving up just one hit and striking out 10. Brad Boxberger, Miguel Sanchez and Hunter Strickland pitched three scoreless inning in relief.
Christian Yelich and Kolten Wong had home runs. Luis Urias had two RBIs and Omar Narvaez drove in a run as well.
The Brewers did lose first baseman Daniel Vogelbach to what appeared to be a serious hamstring injury. He will be re-evaluated today but appears headed to the IL.
The two teams finish up their series this afternoon. Pre-game show at 2:05 on WSAU.
