MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A Central Wisconsin Judge will be chairing a statewide committee.
According to Wisconsin Courts Public Information Officer Tom Sheehan, Marathon County Judge Gregory Huber has been selected to serve as the chair of the Committee of Chief Judges. The Committee of Chief Judges oversees administrative matters in their respective judicial administrative district and is assisted by a district court administrator.
Judge Huber is the Ninth Judicial Administrative District Judge that includes Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Menominee, Oneida, Portage, Price, Shawano, Taylor, Vilas, and Wood counties. Huber has served in his current Administrative position since 2016 and previously served as deputy chief judge.
Huber will be replacing current committee chair Chief Judge Robert VanDeHey from the Grant County Circuit Court. He will take over the position effective August 1st.
