NEILLSVILLE, WI (WSAU) — A man accused of stalking and killing a Loyal woman has entered a plea.
Jesus Conteras-Perez, 41, has entered pleas to felony charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking resulting in bodily harm with domestic abuse modifiers. The charges stem from an October incident where Conteras-Perez is accused of stalking and murdering Cassandra Ayon, who was last seen in the Unity area on October 3rd of 2020.

At his arraignment hearing on Wednesday afternoon, Conteras-Perez pleaded not guilty to the three felony charges. He is currently being held on a $1 million bond and will return to court on September 14th for a status conference.
