This week over one hundred farms are being recognized for managing to keep their farm in the family for 100 or 150 years as a part of the Century and Sesquicentennial Farm and Home Awards. Each farm will be honored during a ceremony held at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 10th, 2021.
The Century Farm Program started off back in 1948, while the Sesquicentennial Program began in 1998. Altogether there are over 10,500 families and farms that have already been given these awards.
