GREEN BAY, Wi (WSAU) — The Packers aren’t sure if they will have Za’Darius Smith when they visit the New Orleans Saints in week one of the regular season.
Yesterday, Matt LeFleur said the Pro Bowl linebacker “could potentially” miss the season opener as he deals with a back injury that has been bothering him since before training camp started. Smith has not missed a game in nearly four years.
Meanwhile LaFleur also said they hope to start ramping up Jordan Love early this week so he can get back into action. Love has been out since the first preseason game with a sore shoulder.
The Packers play at Buffalo on Saturday afternoon
