RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) — A 46-year-old Lac du Flambeau woman has been arrested by the State Patrol on suspicion of her 5th OWI.
Officers pulled over Trinity Lynn Stella near the intersection of State Highways 8 and 17 in Oneida County. While interacting with Stella the officer began to notice signs of impairment, including the smell of marijuana coming from the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
Stella then failed a standard field sobriety test.
She was arrested for charges of operating while intoxicated along with possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Stella had two children in the vehicle under the age of 16 at the time of the stop.
Court records show Stella’s prior OWI convictions date back to 2008.
