MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Big Ten Conference has released the full 2021-’22 Men’s Hockey schedule.
Wisconsin will open league play Friday, October 29th with the first of two games in Ann Arbor against Michigan before hosting Minnesota the weekend of November 5th.
The Badgers had previously posted their non-conference slate which begins October 8th and 9th with a pair of games against Michigan Tech. Wisconsin will also host Army and Clarkson in non-league play as well as an exhibition contest against the USA Hockey U-18 National Team on December 3rd.
Non-league play will wrap up with the Holiday Face-Off at Fiserv Forum against Yale on Dec. 28th and then either Bowling Green or Providence the next day. Those games will mark the first-ever college hockey contests at the new facility.
The remainder of the games will consist of B1G play beginning with a home set against Ohio State on January 7th and wrapping up with two games against Minnesota in Minneapolis on February 25th and 26th.
The Big Ten tournament will be played over three weekends beginning with the first-round series March 4th-6th. Semifinals will be played Saturday, March 12th, and the Conference Final is scheduled for Saturday, March 19th.
The league schedule will once again consist of two bye weekends for each club. The Badgers will be off February 18th and 19th, while their bye weekend in December is filled with the exhibition against the USA development team.
