LA CROSSE, WI (WSAU) — It’s not guilty pleas from two suspects in La Crosse’s triple murder from back in July.
Forty-four-year-old Khamthaneth Rattanasack of Wausau and 33-year-old Nya Thao were both in court Friday, and both entered their pleas and went back to jail.
They’re being held in connection with July’s execution-style murder of three people near La Crosse. Investigators say one of the men killed owed money.
The bodies were found near a quarry in West Salem. The killings are believed to have happened in the early morning hours of July 23rd, 2021.
Both suspects are facing life in prison if convicted. There’s no word on when their trial will begin.
