STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Residents at the Four Seasons Mobile Home Park have not had their water service disconnected as of Thursday morning.
In a statement, Mayor Mike Wiza announced that the city has been in contact with the owners of the park and that no disconnect will occur today.
Wiza says the situation will be re-evaluated on Friday if needed.
Residents were given a warning last week that their water would be shut off due to unpaid bills. According to residents, they pay those bills to the owner of the park, who then pays the water utility.
Around 25 people call the park home. This is the second time in the last few years that they’ve received word that their water could be shut off due to bills not being paid.
