PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are improving to 5-and-1 with a big primetime win.
The Bucs raced out to a 21-7 halftime lead and held on to beat the Eagles 28-22 in Philly.
Tom Brady led the team to victory with 297 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Leonard Fournette chipped in with 81 rushing yards and two scores, and Antonio Brown caught nine passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.
Jalen Hurts showed his youth by completing 12-of-26 passes including a pick, but finished with three total touchdowns to keep the Eagles in the game. Alex Singleton led Philadelphia’s defense with 15 tackles and one pass defensed.
