MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo both started for the Bucks in Saturday’s 102-93 loss to San Antonio at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis led the Bucks with 28 points and 13 rebounds but got into foul trouble late in the game. He was one of four starters in double figures in the contest.
Khris Middleton added 19 points and Grayson Allen chipped in 12. George Hill rounded out the double-figures scoring leaders with 10.
Thanasis was the lone starter who didn’t crack the scoreboard, finishing with no points, eight rebounds, and two assists in 17 minutes of action.
Bench scoring was a weak point for the Bucks as they got just 24 points from outside the starting five. Four players scored six points each.
San Antonio improved to 2-4 on the season while Milwaukee is now 3-3. They conclude a weekend homestand with a matchup against Utah this evening. Coverage on 93.9 The Game begins at 5:30.
