WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The City of Wausau has a new City Clerk. Kaitlyn Bernard was chosen from a group of 21 applicants.
Bernard will replace Leslie Kremer who left the job in August. Bernard is expected to begin her job on Nov. 29th.
The City Clerk maintains public records and oversees election laws among other duties. The office also issues licenses and permits and collects tax payments
