WHITEWATER, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP volleyball team dropped a three set match at UW-Whitewater in the WIAC Tournament Thursday night.
Megan Lau led the Pointers with eight kills. Grace Michalske had 10 assists and Emma Peterson finished with 10 digs.
The Pointers, ranked 22nd in this week’s poll will await their NCAA fate which will be announced on Monday.
The UWSP womens soccer team was eliminated from the WIAC Tournament with a 3-0 loss at UW-La Crosse on Thursday night.
The Pointers couldnt slow down the Eagles attack and didn’t have a shot on goal of their own until the 67th minute.
The Pointers finish 9-11 on the season. Kati Frierdich had 10 goals, the first Pointer to crack double-digits since 2012.
The Pointer mens hockey team will play at Gustavus Adolphus tonight. The womens hockey team hosts St. Scholastica.
