Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team topped St. Francis of Brooklyn 81-58 on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center.
Jonathan Davis led the way with 15 points, five assists with no turnovers, three reounds and two steals. F Chucky Hepburn had 13 points and became the first true freshman to start a season opener since Devin Harris in 2001.
Steven Crowl had 11 points and eight rebounds. Chris Vogt added nine boards.
The Badgers return to action Friday as they host UW-Green Bay.
Wisconsin also announced that freshmen Chris Hodges and Matthew Mors have decided to redshirt this season.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team hosts St. Thomas tonight at the Kohl Center.
