Marquette Golden Eagles
CHARLESTON, SC (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team ran their record to 4-0 for new coach Shaka Smart with a 78-72 win over Ole Miss at a tournament in South Carolina.
The Golden Eagles were down five at halftime before rallying for the win.
Darryl Morsell led the way with 22 points. Justin Lewis had 21 and nine rebounds. Kam Jones was also in double figures with 18.
The Golden Eagles will face West Virginia tonight. The Mountaineers were 87-68 winners over Elon on Thursday.
