WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau woman is free on bond after being charged with stealing a large sum of money from her employer.
Shelby Lynch is charged with theft from a business setting from the unnamed Rib Mountain business in the amount of $32,000.
The thefts allegedly occurred from mid-October to mid-November. The 23-year-old reportedly told authorities that she took the money but didn’t think it was that much.
She used the money to pay bills and a large amount was found in her home.
Lynch is expected back in court on February 14th.
