TOWN OF RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — There’s one less coffee option in the Town of Rib Mountain.
According to WAOW TV, those looking for their early-morning coffee fix at the Rib Mountain Drive location were greeted with a sign saying the location closed “indefinitely” on November 29th.
Starbucks has two other locations in the Wausau area, including one on S 17th Avenue next to Pizza Hut and one on Kort Street in Rothschild.
Restaurant staffing has been an issue for many such businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, with some locations closing early or opening late and others operating with drive-thru only or curbside pickup service. That includes the Starbucks locations in Wausau.
It’s unclear if the Rib Mountain store will reopen again at a new location.
