GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — The NFC’s road to the Super Bowl will run through Green Bay after the Packers crushed the Vikings 37-10 on a frigid Sunday night at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of touchdown passes in the win, and AJ Dillon scored twice on the ground. Davante Adams caught 11 passes for 136 yards and a TD. Allen Lazard caught the other touchdown.
The Packers held Minnesota to just 206 total yards of offense. The win, combined with Arizona’s win over Dallas earlier in the day, earned the Packers the top seed in the NFC Playoffs and the lone first-round bye that comes with it.
Sean Mannion passed for 189 yards and a touchdown filling in for Kirk Cousins, who missed the game after being placed on the COVID-19 list. The Vikings are eliminated from postseason contention at 7-9.
At 13-3, Green Bay is now the first team in NFL history to win at least 13 games in three consecutive seasons. They wrap up the 2021-22 regular season at Detroit on Sunday, kickoff is scheduled for noon from Ford Field. Pregame on WSAU will start at 10 AM.
