MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The latest college basketball coaches poll has been released and the Baylor Bears are still the nation’s number one team.
The Bears are followed by Gonzaga, UCLA, Auburn, and Purdue. The Tigers made the biggest jump of the new top-five after climbing five spots from last week. The Boilermakers took the biggest dip, dropping from third to fifth.
Duke and Texas were the two schools that dropped the most in the latest coaches poll. The Blue Devils and Longhorns each dropped six spots.
The Wisconsin Badgers saw the highest jump in the rankings, going from 23rd to 13th in the country.
Illinois is ranked 24th after not being included in last week’s top 25. Colorado State was the only team to drop out of the poll.
