STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP mens hockey team hammered UW-Eau Claire 7-1 on Tuesday night at KB Willet Arena.
Jake Theis had two goals for the Pointers. The other tallies went to Issac Moberg, David Hill, Brandon McReynolds, Carter Roo and Noah Finstrom.
Ryan Wagner had 21 saves.
The 13th ranked Pointers are now 11-4, 6-1 in WIAC, and will head to River Falls on Friday.
The UWSP womens hockey team knocked off Marian College 7-1 on Tuesday night at Ice Hawks Arena.
Seven different players scored for the Pointers. Goals went to Mary Kremer, Dani Heitsman, Maike Zipp, Courtney Leising, Molly Millar, Annika Horman and Haley Sellers.
Shayna Grais had 18 saves.
The Pointers, now 8-9, will host UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.
The UWSP mens basketball team hosts Stout tonight. The womens team plays at UW-Stout.
