MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #3 Wisconsin womens hockey team beat Minnesota State-Mankato 5-2 in front of a sell-out crowd at LaBahn Arena Friday night.
Casey O’Brien and Daryl Watts had two goals each. Nicole LaMantia had the other Badger tally. O’Brien and Watts are tied for most goals in the country with 23. Makenna Webster had three assists in the game
Kennedy Blair had 20 saves.
The Badgers, now 22-4-4, will face the Mavericks again this afternoon at 4pm with a Senior Day celebration.
The Wisconsin mens hockey team hosts Notre Dame tonight. You can hear the game on WSAU at 8pm.
The Wisconsin mens basketball team will host Rutgers today…pregame show at 12 noon on WSAU.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team will host Michigan State on Sunday.
