STEVENS POINT, Wi (WSAU) — The UWSP mens basketball got blown out on Wednesday night at Quandt Fieldhouse. UW-River Falls pasted the Pointers 94-53 in the regular season finale.
Brennan Timm led the Pointers with 11 and Darrius Bolden added 10.
The Pointers, now 3-16, 0-12 in WIAC, will travel for a WIAC Tournament game on Friday at a site and opponent to be announced later today.
The UWSP womens basketball team dropped the regular season finale 71-58 at UW-River Falls on Wednesday night.
Taylor Greenheck and Alexa Thomsen led the Pointers with 13 each.
The Pointers, now 11-10, 4-8 in WIAC, will play a first round WIAC Tournament game on Friday. Site and opponent will be announced today.
The 10th ranked UWSP mens hockey team dropped Hamline 9-0 on Wednesday night in St. Paul.
Tyler Germna had a hat trick for the Pointers. Other goals were scored by Brady Smith, Brandon McReynolds, Dawson Sciarrino, Andrew Poulias, Conor Witherspoon and Jordan Fader.
Ryan Wagner had 22 saves.
The Pointers, now 19-5-1, have a bye in the first round of the WIAC Tournment. They will play the winner of the Stout-Superior game at KB Willet on Feb 25th.
