MADISON, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Wisconsin Department of Corrections says inmates can soon receive visitors again.
Inmate visitation was stopped at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, was reinstated last year in July but was stopped again in December with the advent of the Omicron variant.
Friday Corrections Department chief Kevin Carr says as of March 1st in person visitation is again being restored.
