WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Marathon County judge has set a trial date for a Weston man accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.
On Wednesday Tyrone Gentry was scheduled for trial on December 20th and 21st for one count of second-degree sexual assault stemming from a 2020 incident in which Gentry is said to have touched a sleeping woman inappropriately.
Court documents say the unidentified woman was sleeping over at a friend’s house when the incident occurred.
The charges carry a repeat enhancer as Gentry had recently completed a 90-day jail sentence for felony possession of narcotics at the time of the most recent charge.
Gentry also faces counts of bail jumping and operating with a revoked license which has been combined with the sexual assault charges.
A final pre-trial conference will be held on September 30th ahead of the December trial.
