LUCK, WI (WSAU) — A staple of the Polk County community of Luck went up in flames this week.
KARE 11 TV in the Twin Cities reports the Luck-E Bar and Restaurant was destroyed by fire. Officials received the initial call at around 4:30 Thursday morning, and spent several hours on the scene.
The building has been deemed a total loss, but crews were able to save two nearby businesses from significant damage.
The Luck-E Bar and Restaurant has served the community for over 100 years, and had just recently come under new management.
The Luck Fire Department says they were helped out by three other neighboring departments, and multiple residents stopped to offer support along with food and beverages as they worked.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
