SACRAMENTO, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks kept pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race by knocking off a Western conference lottery team as they beat the Sacramento Kings 135-126 on Wednesday night in California.
The Bucks regained the lead late after taking a seven point lead into halftime. Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton and Wesley Matthews hit three pointers down the stretch and Giannis added a jump-hook with around a minute left.
Giannis had 36 points and 10 rebounds. Middleton finished with 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and Holiday had 21 points. Matthews had eight points and six boards off the bench.
The Bucks are now 8-2 since the All-Star break and 44-26 on the season. They head back to the Midwest and will play at Minnesota on Saturday night.
