MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks moved ahead of Philadelphia into the 2nd seed in the East with a 126-98 win over the slumping Chicago Bulls Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks are 9-3 since the All-Star break and the Bulls are 4-9.
Milwaukee was without Khris Middleton who sat out with a sore wrist. Wesley Matthews started in his spot and defended Bulls star Demar Derozan well. DeRozan had 21 points and only four rebounds.
Jrue Holiday led Milwaukee with 27 points and seven assists. Giannis returned to the lineup after missing the previous game with a sore knee. He finished with 25 points, 17 rebounds and five assists. all five Bucks starters were in double figures as Matthews had 11 and Brook Lopez & Grayson Allen 10 each.
The bench also chipped in. Pat Connaughton had 14 and Serge Ibaka added 11.
The Bucks, now 45-27, will host Washington on Thursday.
