CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) — Game two of the 2022 MLB season will have to wait another day.
Shortly after 11:30 officials in Chicago announced that Friday’s game between the Cubs and the Brewers would be called off due to a rain/snow mix falling on the northside. The game will now be made up as part of a day/night doubleheader on Memorial Day Monday, May 30th with first pitch at 6:40.
The original game that day has been moved to 1:10.
After Friday’s announcement, both teams said they would push their starting pitchers back a day. Brandon Woodruff will go on Saturday afternoon for the Brewers against Justin Steele.
