Anna Abel
UPDATE: Anna Abel was found safe on Tuesday morning. No further information was released.
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — Officials with the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network have issued a Silver Alert for Anna Abel of Ladysmith, who was last seen in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
The 70-year-old was traveling to see family in the King area but never showed up, and friends and family are now concerned for her safety.
She was traveling in a dark gray Dodge Caravan with Wisconsin plates ADM 4845, much like the van pictured below. Officers note that the van has a handicapped-accessible ramp on the side door.
Abel is 5’2” 175 lbs with hazel eyes and short gray hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a white “W” on it and black paints along with red and black shoes.
Anyone with information or who believed they’ve seen Abel is asked to call the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office at (715) 532-2200.
