WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Weston man has been arrested on suspicion of vandalizing a handful of east-side businesses in Wausau.
Wausau Police say glass doors and windows were smashed at Angelo’s Pizza, Pearl Luvs Earl, the Thrive Foodery, the Subway on Bridge Street, and the Wausau Boys & Girls Club were vandalized.
Paul Kreft, 48, was arrested at his home. Police haven’t said how they identified Kreft.
At an initial court appearance, he was charged with criminal damage to property. He’s free on $500 signature bond.
Kreft returns to court on June 24, when a judge will decide if there’s enough evidence to proceed to trial.
