WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 48-year-old Weston man accused of breaking windows and doors at several east-side businesses has entered a not guilty plea to charges of disorderly conduct and criminal property damage.
Paul Kreft was in a Wausau courtroom this week where a judge set the case to move forward with a pre-trial conference on August 1st.
Officers say Kreft was behind a spree that saw damage at numerous locations including Thrive Foodery, Subway, and the Boys and Girls Club of Wausau. All locations involved were near Bridge Street.
The incidents in question all occurred between June 1st and 2nd. Officers haven’t said how they tied Kreft to the incidents.
He’s free on a signature bond with several conditions including no contact with the victims, maintaining absolute sobriety, and no contact with any bars, taverns, or beer tents.
