GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers activated offensive lineman David Bakhtiari from the PUP list on Sunday.
The 30 year old has been re-habbing a torn ACL that he injured on Dec 31st 2020. He had returned in the final game of 2021 but then needed a third surgery to remove scar tissue.
He had missed all of the Packers off-season activities.
He returned to practice on Sunday doing individual drills. It’s not known when he will resume team drills.
The Packers are hoping both Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins, who returned to practice last week, will be ready for the season opener against the Vikings on September 11th.
