MILWAUKEE, WI (WRN) – President Biden was in Milwaukee on Monday for Laborfest.
President Joe Biden continued with his increased rhetoric against “MAGA Republicans” at his speech at Milwaukee’s LaborFest on Monday.
Biden has been increasingly critical of the wing of the GOP that follows former President Donald Trump.
He also called out US Senator Ron Johnson for his views on Social Security and Medicare, and how they should change the spending models.
“He wants to put Social Security and Medicare literally The Chopping Block every single year, treat it like any other appropriation. You paid for your Social Security, and Medicare! Taken out of your paycheck from the time you’re 18 years old.”
Johnson says his comments last month were taken out of context.
Biden also continued his attacks on the followers of former President Donald Trump and said those so-called “MAGA Republicans” are a continued threat to American democracy.
Biden also touted new reforms from his administration says new reforms on corporate taxing will boost the nation’s tax revenues and require businesses to pay their fair share.
“The days of billion dollar companies paying zero, they are over in America. And they know they can afford it.”
Biden went on speak at another Labor Day gathering in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
