Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #8 Wisconsin volleyball team swept Penn State on Friday night at the UW Fieldhouse. The scores were 25-20, 25-16 and 31-29.
Devyn Robinson and Sarah Franklin led the Badgers with 12 kills each. Franklin added 12 digs for her third double-double of the season.
Izzy Ashburn had five service aces and 23 assists.
The Badgers, now 8-3, 2-1 in Big Ten, host Illinois at 1pm on Sunday.
The #5 ranked Wisconsin womens hockey team had no problem with Lindenwood winning 10-0 on Friday night at LaBahn Arena.
Nine Badgers lit the lamp including Jesse Compher who tallied twice. The other goals went to Casey O’Brien, Britta Curl, LAcey Eden, Laila Edwards, Nicole LaMantia, Sophie Shirley, Kirsten Simms and Maddi Wheeler.
Jane Gervais had 11 saves for the shutout.
The Badgers, now 3-1, will host St. Thomas next Friday and Saturday.
The Wisconsin football team hosts Illinois today. Pre game show at 9am on WSAU.
