MADISON, WI (WSAU) –Wisconsin offensive lineman Logan Brown is not entering the transfer portal voluntarily. After announcing his plan to transfer earlier this week It was learned that Brown was dismissed from the program after an incident at practice on Wednesday.
Badger coach Jim Leonhard said during a press availability this week that Brown was dismissed from the team after striking a teammate during practice. Leonhard then held a meeting with the player and advised him to seek other opportunities.
Transfer rules allow players to enter the portal within 30 days of a coaching change. Paul Chryst was fired on October 2nd.
The Badgers play at Michigan State on Saturday. Pre game show at 1pm on WSAU.
The Wisconsin womens soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at Penn State on Thursday night. The Badgers head to Rutgers on Sunday.
