WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 40-year-old Wausau man is accused of possessing more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to distribute the drug, according to a federal grand jury indictment.
Anthony Anderson was charged this week in US District Court for Western Wisconsin. According to the complaint, he was in possession of the drug on August 1st, 2022 when officers arrested him.
The arrest came following an investigation that involved the FBI and the Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force.
No further details were released. If found guilty he faces a mandatory sentence of 10 years in prison, with a maximum sentence of life in prison.
