MADISON, WI (WSAU) –The Wisconsin football team is losing two more players to the transfer portal after the firing of Paul Chryst.
After redshirt freshman WR Markus Allen announced over the weekend that he was leaving, fellow wideout redshirt junior Stephen Bracey announced the same.
Allen had seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown this season but did not play in Saturday’s loss at Michigan State.
Bracey, who was a high school teammate of the recently dismissed player Logan Brown, has battled injuries in his time with the Badgers. His high point was a kickoff return for a touchdown in last year’s win over Nebraska. He hasn’t played in a game this season after battling a hamstring problem in training camp.
The Badgers have also lost quarterback Deacon Hill to the transfer portal in the last week. Players have 30 days from the firing of a head coach to make the move.
Wisconsin now has four additional scholarships available.
