MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to Penn State on Friday night at the Kohl Center.
Dominick Mersh had the Badger goal. Jared Moe had 35 saves.
The two teams play tonight…pre game show at 6:30 on WSAU.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team lost 3-2 in overtime at UM-Duluth on Friday night.
Lacey Eden had the only Badger goal. Cami Kronish had 23 saves.
The Badgers, now 9-2, 6-1 in WCHA, will plat at Duluth again this afternoon at 3pm.
The Wisconsin mens cross country team won their 53rd conference title on Friday in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Bob Liking of Wisconsin was the individual champion with a time of 23 minutes 48.9 seconds. He finished one second ahead of teammate Jackson Sharp.
The Badgers will run in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov 11th in Terre Haute Indiana.
The Wisconsin womens cross country team finished third in the Big Ten Conference Championship. Just over six seconds seperated the top three Wisconsin runners.
Shea Ruhly finished 8th, Samantha Stieve had her best finish coming in 13th and Lucinda Crouch was 14th.
The Badger women will also run in the NCAA Regional on Nov 11th.
The Wisconsin volleyball team hosts Minnesota tonight.
The Badger football team is off for their bye.
